Grant Program Activity Dates FY 2024

All grants that NWMAC administers are listed below with application deadlines, board approval dates, and grant periods for FY 2024.

Arts Grants to Organizations
General Operating for Non-Profit Arts Organizations
Applications Accepted on an On-going Basis. Application Available: September 1, 2023/ Board Meeting Approval throughout the year. Grant period: October 2023 – April 2025.
Note: All 501(c)3 arts nonprofits start by completing a general operating grant form. Once approved, they are eligible to add-on to their grant for additional funding throughout the year.
Arts Grants for Government Entities and Nonprofit Organizations (from $500 up to $10,000 per grant)
1st Deadline: Application Deadline: July 31, 2023 /Board Approval: August 24, 2023/ Grant Period: Oct 2023 - April 2025
2nd Deadline: Application Deadline: October 31, 2023/ Board Approval: December 7, 2023/ Grant Period: January 2024 - April 2025
3rd Deadline: Application Deadline: February 29, 2024/ Board Approval: April 25, 2024/ Grant Period: May 2024 - April 2025
Arts Grants to Schools
Artist Residency up to $3,000 per grant for Schools
Applications Accepted on an On-Going Basis. Application Available: August 1. Board Meeting Approval throughout the year.
Grant period: October 2023 - April 2025.
Arts Project Equipment up to $3,000 for Schools
Application Deadline: October 31, 2023/ Board Approval: December 7, 2023/ Grant Period: Jan 2024- June 2024
Arts Grants to Individuals
Quick Turn Around $500 for Individuals
Applications accepted on an On-Going Basis. Application Available: September 1. Board Meeting Approval throughout the year. Grant period: October 2023 - April 2025. Quick Turn Around Grants for Individuals will be available starting January 2024.
Artist Project for Individuals $5,000 level
Application Deadline: September 30, 2023 (this has been extended to Oct 15, 2023)/ Board Approval: October 19, 2023/Grant Period: Jan 2024 – Dec 2024
Artist Project for Individuals $1,500 level
Application Deadline: November 15, 2023/Board Approval: December 7, 2023/ Grant Period: Jan 2024 – Dec 2024
Application Review and Award Notification
All applications are reviewed and scored remotely by teams of panelists. Action will be taken at the next Board meeting following the grant deadline. Applicants will be notified by email after board action.
Panel Review Meetings: Panel meetings will be conducted via telephone. Members of the public are welcome to call in and listen to the review. Due to zoom hacking, we will happily provide the meeting information as requested in order to monitor attendance.

November 29, 2023 4:00 PM 2nd Deadline Organizations, Equipment Schools, Artist $1,500
April 16, 2024 4:00 PM 3rd Deadline Organizations
May 30, 2024 4:00 PM Only if needed
Board Meetings: Board meetings are conducted as a combination of in person and virtual. Members of the public are welcome to call in and listen to the board meeting. Stay tuned for the below to be updated.
