1:00 to 2:30pm A Kick in the Pants: Physical Comedy Routines and play reading. You will begin with a vocal and physical warm-up with Darcey Engen. They will then introduce stage techniques of physical comedy: slaps, kicks, trips, falls, fixed points and awkward timing decisions. Participants will develop a 1 to 2 minute comedy routine that they will develop and perform. No preparation necessary. Dress to move comfortably. You will then read a portion of the script.

During the workshops they will also hold an information session and call for actors, musicians and volunteers to participate in their performance of “An Enemy of the People,” a site-specific performance that will take place in Hallock, JULY 23 through JULY 26th.

They provide a playful and safe environment to learn skills for performance.
