This will be a fun informative class with networking around pizza suppers on Friday nights and soup/sandwich lunch on Saturdays. Food is part of your registration! The more workshops you attend the more value you receive. This workshop series costs over $200 if participants were to attend the sessions in the Twin Cities or other parts of our state. Funding from The McKnight Foundation to the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council is greatly reducing the cost of these workshops!

There is a fashion show & dinner planned for Saturday evening at Ventures in Fosston at 6pm. The even will be open to all attendees, vendors and instructors. It will showcase handmade textiles, garments and wearable art by regional artists using locally sourced materials.
MnArtists.org is hosting a workshop in our area to teach artists how to best utilize their new website design.
Haven’t seen the new redesign? It has changed! Take a look!
And it changes all the time! It is such a wealth of information…artists should be utilizing it more and more. In their own words:
Mn Artists is a dynamic online community dedicated to supporting and improving the quality of art and artists in the Midwest through responsive arts reporting and criticism, and by connecting artists with collaborators, influencers, and audiences. Mn Artists recently completed a major redesign that launched in November 2014.
This workshop will show artists how to best use the new site’s professional development tools. We’ll give you a tour of the redesigned Mn Artists and walk you through the process of creating an artist profile complete with work samples. This workshop is recommended for artists who want to improve their online presence and connect to more opportunities, communities, and conversations, both locally and regionally.
We are pleased to help facilitate this FREE workshop. Participants should bring their own laptop or tablet.
