Adult artists, high school and college students with permanent residency in the Minnesota counties of Kittson, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake and Roseau are invited to participate.  Each participant can enter up to two pieces of artwork.  The work must have been completed within the last five years and must not have been accepted into a previous Northwest Minnesota Arts Exhibit.  Exhibit rules, restrictions and entry forms can be found on www.NorthwestMinnesotaArtsCouncil.org under the “Art Exhibit” tab or by contacting Mara at (218) 745-9111.  She can also be reached by email at mara@nwrdc.org if you have any questions or need more information.

Due to reduced funding at the Arts Council, there is a small entry fee.  The fee is $5.00 for students and $10.00 for adults.  This program is sponsored in part by funding to the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council by the McKnight Foundation and the Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment.  The Northwest Minnesota Arts Council is one of eleven regional arts councils in the state.  All eleven councils work together with fiscal agents of the Minnesota State Arts Board to provide arts services, staffing, and grants.
