North Country Fiddle and Dance
The O’Neil Family Band
proudly presents
Community Barn Dance
Saturday, March 28th.
The O’Neil Family Band of East Grand Forks and Shawn Glidden of St. Paul are teaming up to put together the North Country Fiddle and Dance event at the East Grand Forks Eagles Club from 7:30p-10:00p.
Tom, Jeanne and Erin O’neil delight their audience with a variety of folk music that has endured for ages and they are ready to share it with you!
What can you expect? A whole lotta’ fun, that’s what!
North American Folk and barn dancing; longways reels, circles and simple squares. There might even be a few jigs, waltzes and reels for you to see or join in on.
Everyone is welcome, as are all types of dancers! And don’t worry! If you don’t know how to do any of these things…there will be lessons. You’re never too old or too young to learn; just ask Erin when she started.
Come join in the fun and don’t be a square…just dance one!
Donations at the Door will be gladly accepted.
This activity made possible in part by a grant from Northwest Minnesota Arts Council through funding from the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the State’s General Fund.
