The McKnight Fellowships for Dancers and for Choreographers will hold a webinar for all interested applicants.

Interested in applying for a McKnight Fellowship for Dancers and Choreographers?
This information session will focus on frequently asked questions regarding the application materials: the artistic statement, resume and work sample. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat feature, and/or are encouraged to submit a question by email when you RSVP.
This session, led by Program Director Mary Ellen Childs, will be accessed through the online meeting site, Zoom. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org, and participants will be sent a link to enter the webinar by internet browser on a computer or smart phone.

360 XOCHI QUETZAL is a FREE artist residency located on Lake Chapala, Mexico. International writers, playwrights, visual artists, fiber artists, filmmakers, photographers, new media artists, dancers and musicians are all welcome to apply for a 1-month residency Dec 14, 2016 – Jan 13, 2017. Winter applications are due August 7, 2016 thru CAFÉ www.callforentry.org so apply today!
They also have a personal residency program for artists and writers who need longer periods of creative time (1 – 6 months). Spaces are still available for August – December. Write email@example.com for dates in 2016 – 2017.

McKNIGHT ARTIST FELLOWSHIPS
Intent to Apply is now open until Sept. 9
The McKnight Fellowships for Choreographers and the McKnight Fellowships for Dancers awards $25,000 fellowships to Minnesota mid-career dancers and choreographers.
If you plan to apply for a fellowship, you must submit your Intent to Apply by September 9.

The Intent to Apply deadline is Wednesday, September 9th at 11:59 pm. If you miss the Intent to Apply deadline you may still submit a final application. However, you will not receive deadline reminders or important updates about the application process.

Once you have submitted your Intent to Apply you will be notified regarding the final application process. This application will become available after January 15, 2016 and the deadline will be in early April.

Here is the AUDITION information for these productions:
They are being held at Northland Community and Tech College Theater in Thief River Falls on Thursday and Friday, Feb. 19 and 20 from 5-7 p.m. Those auditioning will be asked to read from scripts, and to sing a song of their selection if trying out for Hello Dolly. Please provide my email address firstname.lastname@example.org for questions they may have. Pianist is provided, but they need to bring their own sheet music. Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and other characters from the whimsical imagination of Dr. Seuss come together in this musical featuring a score by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
Seussical debuted on Broadway in 2000. The play’s story is a mash-up of many of Seuss’s most famous books. Along with a fabulous score, it has become a favorite for school, community and regional theaters.
