Arts Midwest World Fest
Arts Midwest World Fest presents international musical ensembles in intensive week-long residencies in smaller Midwest communities. Its purpose is to foster an understanding of and appreciation for global uniqueness and differences. Thief River Falls has been fortunate to a recipient of these residencies for the past two years. Anda Union will be the fourth and final residency as part of this series. Anda Union combines different traditions and styles of music from all over Mongolia. You won’t want to miss the chance to see this musical ensemble from Inner Mongolia, China.
Anda Union will be performing for the public in concert on Saturday, March 18 at 7:00 PM at Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls.
Open to the public and appropriate for all ages! Tickets are just $5.00 per person at the door, which is amazingly cheap!! Hear unique instruments and throat music right in our region! We don’t even know what that is but we are excited to learn.
