  • New Hues: An Exhibit of COLOR. River Walk Artist Gallery Exhibit in East Grand Forks, March 8-April 23.
  • Anda Union from China (Inner Mongolian folk musicians), Arts Midwest World Fest. School residency and community concert. March 12-18. School residency March 13-17. Public concert at Lincoln High School, Thief River Falls at 7pm on March 18.

April 2017

  • Public Meeting for Biennial Plan April 12.  2:00 pm at NWMAC office.
  • Spring Art Exhibit, April 20-30. Norman County West School Library, Halstad, MN.
  • Artist Reception, April 30. Exhibit opens at 12pm, Reception/Food at 1 pm, Program at 2pm at Norman County West School, Halstad.
  • Art & Wine Walk, Riverwalk Artist Gallery Reception April 22.
  • Christine Foster: Hope and Freedom:Mending the Soul Art Exhibit at River Walk Gallery, April 26-June17.

May 2017

  Rolling deadlines

  • Arts Legacy Grants: Artist Residency in Schools ($2,100) first come, first served.
  • Arts Legacy Grants: General Operating (varies).
  • Individual Grants:
    • Quick Turn Around Grants (up to $500 for adults) first come, first served.
    • Student Artist Training Grants ($500 to high school and middle school age students) first come, first served.
  • Selection of exhibiting artists. We are looking for artists interested in exhibiting during 2017, and they must have been involved with the NWMAC through a grant, the Regional Art Exhibit, or workshop sponsored by us. Contact Kat or Mara.
