East Grand Forks Campbell Library Looking for Artists for Online Programming

Campbell Library in East Grand Forks is looking for flexible, tech savvy (or willing to learn) artists for arts programming at the library. Specifically,

  • a monthly Artist in “Residence” program – a series of short videos of you in your studio working on your art culminating in a Zoom workshop – they provide supplies to participants and they put together the project with the artist leading together over Zoom.
  • Summer Arts in the Park – they are hoping that things are a little closer to normal in summer and some outdoor programs will be possible.  In the past, this event has been first come, first serve, but this might change depending on the situation at the time
  • Summer Reading Program presentation/workshop – Artists have undertaken various arts activities with kids who are registered for our summer reading program in the past.  They’re not sure what the Summer Reading Program will look like this year, so this is a very flexible opportunity – it could be fine arts, it could be dance, it could be music and dance!  The possibilities are endless!

They are open to ideas — so take advantage of the opportunity to create and be creative.  If you have a project you’d like to try, let them know about it and you can talk about logistics.  They welcome any and all questions.  Also if you know anyone else who might be interested in this, please share this with them.
