Minnesota State Arts Board Accepting Applications for Assistant Finance Director

The Minnesota State Arts Board has launched a search for an accounting technician. This important position is responsible for helping to ensure accountability for public funds by completing financial reviews and reconciliations for competitive and legislatively mandated grants.¬†The accountant also will manage and track agency administrative expenditures. Minimum qualifications include: an associate’s degree in accounting; a minimum of two years’ professional experience in an accounting position; ability to understand and explain state financial policies and procedures; and the ability to work with a diverse group of constituents including agency staff, vendors, and grantees.
