Roseau City Center and Library will be the host of our 2016 Northwest Minnesota Art Exhibit.
Show opens April 13 during regular business hours. The full exhibit of 115 pieces will be on display for just five days until April 17. Sixty pieces will remain in the Roseau library on display until May 18th.
Artist Reception and Awards Ceremony
On April 17, the awards program will begin at 2:00 pm in the Roseau City Center banquet room. Prior to the program, artwork can be viewed and patrons can vote for people’s choice. This exhibit reception is free and open to the public.
Three key individuals in the arts will be honored at the reception.
- Barb Geer of Middle River will receive our Northwest Star Award! For her lifetime of achievements in performing arts.
- Julie Elick of Roseau will receive our Arts Advocate of the Year Award for her encouragement of visual artists and commitment to the Artists on Main Store.
- Beau Bakken of Hallock will receive our Artist of the Year Award for his technical skill in painting murals and his up and coming talent.
Regular Library Hours are posted on their website. However, they informed us that they are closed on Saturdays in April and May which is different than their website post. http://nwrlib.org/roseau
