Trey applied for a grant through the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council and was awarded funds to create this program. The program will consist of explaining and training participants to effectively teach and lead their own ‘Healing through Art’ programs.
HEALING THROUGH ART TRAINING WORKSHOP
Have you ever wanted to help others by hosting a “Healing though Art” workshop? Have you felt that you have been called to help others but you don’ t know how, don’t think you can or don’t think you have a talent for it? Then this is the workshop for you!
“Healing through Art” is a curriculum based series of classes that will help you build a steady clientele and help others heal by using simple art techniques.
There will be hands on training, ways on how to budget this type of program, and various options you can choose to make a weeks long course or a one day event. Anyone and everyone can do this! And best of all…IT’S FREE!
Trey says, “If you are a teacher, health or human services worker, hospice worker, care giver, assisted living or nursing home staff, library staff, public and private educator, lay worker, pastor, or if you are just interested in helping others become more healthy in body, mind, and spirit through creativity then this training workshop is for you.”
