The annual Winter Holiday Exhibit is now open to the public in the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council Gallery of River Walk Artists shop & gallery. Make a point of coming to visit during the holidays! Bring your out-of-town guests and family to see these seasonal, sometimes whimsical, sometimes poignant works from around the region!
Included in the exhibit celebrating the season and holidays are works by Hallock, MN, photographer Loren Younggren; needle-felter Candace Osborn of Ada, MN; Fosston, MN, photographer Dean Vikan; painters from East Grand Forks, MN, including acrylic artists Erin Nelson, and Karlee Westrem; and watercolorist Phyllis Kalliokoski; and Maryann Laxen, watercolorist and photographer; potters from Red Lake Falls, MN, Robin & Lorrie Foster; and mitten-maker and porcelain ceramist Betsy Saurdiff of Grygla, MN.
Each artist who entered their work to this exhibit qualifies for a drawing to win a share of Community Supported Art (CSA) (see photograph for some of the artwork choices). The winner will be announced at the River Walk Artists Holiday Open House (date TBA).
The Art Council gallery and River Walk Artists shop & gallery are located in the River Walk Mall, 211 Demers Avenue, East Grand Forks, MN 56721, just north of Cabella’s and east of the Blue Moose Restaurant. Park in the large lot to the north, and come in the mall door: we are the first door on the right!
